Here is the cover of my next book, “Friendship at the Margins: Discovering Mutuality in Service and Mission.”
It’s part of the Center for Reconciliation’s small book series and scheduled to drop on March 5, 2010.
Reflecting on the cover art, my editor Al Hsu wrote, “We wanted something that would of course be consistent with the other volumes in the series but that would also reflect the unique character of your book. We asked the artist to create a piece that would embody the sense of friendship, community and hospitality that the book talks about, and we mentioned the significance of shared meals, which is what the artist went with. I like how the imagery is intentionally intergenerational and ethnically diverse.”
