I get so many magazines—and at this time of the year, they are packed full of ”Best of 2008” lists.

I love that stuff. Can’t get enough of it.

So in the spirit of reflection, rankings and “best of” lists, here’s my favorite songs of 2008.

As you can imagine, this was super duper hard for me to narrow this all the way down to 40 songs. It might be even harder making this public because so many of my friends are actual music critics.
